The Beginning of a New Velomobile Project

Why a new velomobile project? Well, being an avid cyclist for many years now, and taken up an interest in recumbent trikes for the last few, and with energy costs soaring nowadays, I have found a new interest --- Velomobiles. The problem is, wanting to try one, it appears to be very difficult to obtain one in the USA, most of them being manufactured in Europe or Australia, with waiting lists of up to 18 months. A jaunt to Europe to pick one up is impractical, to say the least. It takes a lawyer to figure out the contracts to buy one, and an accountant to figure out all the extra taxes and tariffs to pay. So, I will think about what I can do to start making a velomobile of my own that can say: 

My current ride is a Trimuter Big Wheel recumbent trike.  I have been riding it for about a year and a half now....
