Aspect Library Features

The Aspect Library component provides a means to access and store the non-uniform data that comprises a complex object. The goals of the library are to provide:

	A language independent user programmable access to a complex object’s data
	A mechanism for the end user to add their own data group to an existing object
	Persistent storage of the data to compound document streams
	Addition of new data to an object without changing the object’s stream format
	Removal of obsolete data from the object
	Support for all Automation (IDispatch), COM, and DCOM, single and free threaded models

The library is provided complete with source code in order to provide the developer with a debug-able reference. Customized versions will not be supported. Enhancements that may benefit all users will be considered, and should be submitted as requests so they may be added to the “official” version of the library.

System Requirements

Aspect Library is developed using Windows 2000 SP1, Visual C++ version 6.0 SP5.
Requires the latest version of Windows Installer on your computer to run the download installation.
